We desperately need the Iliana expressway down here, east west travel is a nightmare for truckers and warehouse operations. We are blessed with center of the country geography for transportation industry jobs to flock here. But without the illiana expressway it can’t happen, and we once again waste our blessing. The south in Illinois gets nothing. While Chicago and the northern burbs get whatever they want road-wise. To them nothing exists south of I80, when in reality that area is Illinois last hope for growth.


The article didn’t mention that Amazon adds sales tax to online purchases shipped to Illinois.
